Weekends at Kidzville

SLDR-BridgeKidz

Kidzville is where we are all about your kidz and family, through every phase of life. Starting with early childhood, where our littlest ones are getting their first look at our Amazing God and experiencing the family of God. We get the joy of seeing the awe and wonder of God through their eyes. As they enter into their next phase of life, elementary ages, they are discovering that they can trust God’s character. They are engaging more into the family of God. Relationships matter to them. They need to know that they belong and have someone to believe in them.

Security

At The Bridge, the safety of your child is a high priority.  All our teachers have been through an application process. This process includes an extensive application, reference checks, a background check and an interview. When you enter Kidzville you will be greeted by our Welcome Team. They are there to assist you, guide you and answer any questions you might have about our children’s ministries. When you check-in your child, you will be provided with a name tag for your child and a corresponding pick-up tag. When you return after the service, present the pick-up tag to the teacher. Check-in begins 15 minutes before services begin.

Do you have a child with special needs?

At The Bridge, we strive to accommodate children and families with children who have special needs. We have adult volunteers who assist children in a classroom with their peers on Sundays. Please contact De for more information and to set up a “buddy” for your child.

Check out Buddy Break, a monthly Saturday respite care program, hosted at The Bridge.

Why Parents Matter

The Bridge provides a tremendous ministry for children, blessed by volunteers and a loving staff, creative and fun programs—all with a heart for helping children know and love Jesus. But the most important influencers in a child’s life are his/her parents, followed by siblings, along with peers, schools and mentors. The church’s level of influence actually comes in third—similar to that of a counselor or extended family member. Therefore, we recognize that no matter how great of a weekend program we have at The Bridge, it can never substitute for the teaching and influence of a parent in the lives of their kids.
