your first visit
When you enter Kidzville you will be greeted by our Welcome Team. They are there to assist you and check your child into our database system, answer questions and direct you to your child's room. Please let us know if your child has any special instructions (allergies, special needs).
When you check in your child, you will be provided with a name tag for your child and a corresponding pick-up tag. When you return after the service, present the pick-up tag to the teacher. Check-in begins 15 minutes before services begin.
At The Bridge, the safety of your child is a high priority. All our volunteers have been through an application process. This process includes an extensive application, reference checks, a federal background check and an interview.
Special Needs Children
At The Bridge, we strive to accommodate children and families with children who have special needs. We have adult volunteers who assist children in a classroom with their peers on Sundays. Please contact De for more information and to set up a “buddy” for your child.
Check out Buddy Break, a monthly Saturday respite care program hosted at The Bridge.
PARTNERING WITH PARENTS
The Bridge provides a tremendous ministry for children, blessed by volunteers and a loving staff, creative and fun programs—all with a heart for helping children know and love Jesus. But the most important influencers in a child’s life are his/her parents. So no matter how great of a weekend program we have at The Bridge, it can never substitute for the teaching and influence of a parent in the lives of their kids. Therefore, we have provided take-home materials with daily activities to help you prompt moments to instill faith and character in the heart of your child(ren). The material is divided into age-appropriate booklets that coincide with Sunday lesson and theme.
Booklets are available at Kidzville Info counter and also available to download through the Weekly Parent E-News. Sign up here.
