BK CONNECT Sept 20-May 15

Wednesday evenings 6:30-8PM during the school year, kids Kindergarten through Grade 5 meet for a time of teaching, small group discipleship, Bible memorization, friendship, fellowship, fun and some wild, crazy team building games!

TIMOTHY TEAM

Timothy Team is our service program for all students 3rd grade through high school. These students receive specialized training in order to help with our early childhood program (Nursery-PreK). This is beneficial to the kids who serve as it allows them to utilize the gifts that God has given them. It’s also beneficial to the kids who are being served as they relate well to someone closer to their age.

KIDS BAPTISM

Kids Baptism is offered several times a year for children Grades 3 and up. If your child is ready to be baptized you will request a packet that will be completed at home with you, the parents. After the packet is completed, kids will be interviewed by a member of the Family Ministries team. Once this interview has been completed, they can be baptized at any upcoming baptism service.

CHILD DEDICATION

Infant/Child Dedication is offered throughout the year. Through this ceremony, parents present their child to the Lord, affirm their commitment to the Him and vow to raise their child in a Godly home. In lieu of a class or orientation, parents are given a booklet to be competed at home at their convenience that includes the meaning of dedication and being intentional about the spiritual legacy you will leave your kids. After you complete the packet, you will meet with a member of the Family Ministries team and discuss beginning the spiritual training of our child, what to expect from Bridge Kids Ministry and how to assume the spiritual leadership in your home.

PRIZE STORE  

Each week PreK-Grade 5 kids can earn Bible bucks by attendance, bringing their Bible, bringing a friend, memorizing the monthly verse, the books of the Bible, 10 Commandments and more. We will open our prize store for them to spend their Bible bucks 3-4 times a year.

 

SPECIAL EVENTS  ​

• Back to School Blessing – the Sunday before public school begins, we will pray with the kids over the school year and give them some special school supplies.

• Pop Up Sunday – mid-June our kids will move up to their new grade level. 5th graders are given a very special send-off to Youth Group with a Bible presentation and younger kids will enjoy POPcorn, POP-its and Otter POPs.
